The film has collected Rs 44.5 crore on its first day of release, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The collection is the highest for any Bollywood film on Diwali. The spy-thriller collected the figure with 41.33 percent Hindi occupancy on the first day. Not only is the film the highest grosser on Diwali, 'Tiger 3' also marks Salman Khan’s biggest opener till date. His film 'Bharat' had opened with Rs 42.30 cr on Eid.
